Banking and Society


The banks have a great impact on individuals, families, companies and society. Changes in the terms of loans and interest rates can influence the domestic economy to a great extent. Commercial loans affect trade, employment and residential patterns.

    The banks' role in society is further increased when their executives and board members are members of councils, boards, and committees for organizations in both the public and private sector.
