The Palestinian choice for the future

Palestinians want peace and equality for themselves and their children, in a society where they can retain their own culture.

The Palestinian population in Israel is much younger than the Jewish population, and constitutes only 12% of the voting population. The May 1996 election showed that the majority (57%) of the Palestinians supported a continuation of the peace-process under Peres, while only 3% supported Natanyahu's visions for the future.
However, a large portion of the Palestinian population either didn't vote at all (23%), or turned in a blank vote (21%).
